Abstract

Older people are fragile people who need the support of other younger people and even help from new technologies to improve their living conditions. The issue of improving the living conditions of senior citizens through intelligent computer systems is discussed in this article. We present a state of the art on intelligent computer systems techniques, in particular ontologies for improving the living conditions of seniors, in order to highlight some shortcomings and take a position accordingly.
